Welcome to "AI for Smarter Cyber-Security," a course offered by the School of Applied Skills and Technology at Loyalist College. This course provides students with hands-on experience in applying artificial intelligence (AI) to develop intelligent security systems capable of automatically detecting and preventing cyber attacks. Our learners are equipped with foundational knowledge in both AI and Cyber Security, and are ready to tackle real-world challenges. Learners in the "AI for Smarter Cyber-Security" course will develop strong foundational knowledge in both AI and cybersecurity, with the ability to apply machine learning algorithms to solve real-world cybersecurity problems. They will gain proficiency in Python for developing AI-based security solutions, evaluate ethical and legal implications, and enhance their problem-solving, research, and communication skills through hands-on experience and practical projects.
