Social Media Marketing - Luta App

Positions available: two teams of three students Luta app is a new tool for Canadians in the battle against climate change. Luta app provides a simple data-driven way to measure the impact of energy usage in your home and in your vehicle. It then helps you take appropriate action to mitigate your GHG emissions and costs. Luta measures the energy use and greenhouse gas emissions from furnaces, AC units and vehicles. Users of the app can answer a few questions about their HVAC unit or car, then get an instant report that provides them with an estimate of potential reduction of emissions and costs. The user can be also connected to a local home professional for a free consultation, or book a test drive at a local dealer through the app. Luta will also provide deals and promotions on eco-friendly products, such as; smart thermostats, energy-efficient TVs, electric scooters etc. Our organization is able to offer a virtual internship opportunity for 2 marketing students. The primary focus of the student will be: Social Media Marketing and Influencer marketing Create the content strategy for the Luta app showcasing the content buckets the firm should focus on (2-3 slides) Create 3 Facebook posts focusing on the environment, climate change using creatives and compelling copy that will help increase app downloads Create 5 Twitter posts focusing on the environment, climate change using creatives and compelling copy that will help increase app downloads Find 10 influencers who are active in the environmental space on social media and devise a way to partner with them for Luta App Suggest 3 exciting campaigns/contests that engage customers via social media channels to drive awareness, conversation and affinity for the Luta App and its content and increase downloads of the app. Suggest 5 blog post titles that would help increase website traffic and downloads for Luta. Our goal at the end of this experience is: Strategic Social Media Marketing - For the student to help us improve our online presence, reach more users, increase app installs and effectively promote our brand through compelling content.
