Positions available: 1 We are looking for a student to help us with data quality analysis and research project. Our software solutions rely on high-quality, reliable data that is sourced from numerous data providers on a daily basis. The students role will be the following: Review daily data reports to identify anomalies Research primary sources to confirm the accuracy or inaccuracy of the data When errors are identified, working with data providers to identify the cause of the error Identify patterns of errors, and work with the director of product management and our data providers to find ways to eliminate or tolerate anomalies The student will be familiar dealing with large spreadsheets and data files. The student will be an excellent problem solver with great communication skills.
Investment Data Analyst
We’re looking for a student to undertake a market research project to examine regulatory compliance practices in wealth management. Positions available: 1 Based on our goals, we are looking for the student to work on the following: Research and analysis of investment product datasets for variable annuities, equities, alts, and rollovers in Canada and the USA. Run weekly exception reports to identify gaps. Match CRM data to external data source to create account hierarchies. Establish standard data entry processes and procedures for CRM users. Based on our goals, we are looking for the student to work on the following: Undertake competitive intelligence and a SWOT analysis on industry players. Examine competitive product offerings, positioning, advertising and marketing campaigns. Source information from websites, industry events (webinars), in-house employees and online tools.
