This program provides individuals with intellectual disabilities and other significant learning challenges the opportunity to pursue postsecondary education, prepare for success in entry-level work, and build independence and self-advocacy skills for adult life. In the 'Collaborate & Nurture Skills (Practice 2)' section, our learners are poised to ignite the acquisition of vocational skills, effective work habits, and appropriate interpersonal skills in an experiential learning and virtual environment. Educational Support Placement
Looking to elevate your organization, and bring it to the next level? Bring on students from Mohawk College to be your virtual interns, in a project-based experience. Students will work on one or more projects of your choosing over the internship period, connecting with you as needed with virtual communication tools. Students in this program are poised to gain first-hand, applied experience in the role and responsibilities of an Educational Assistant. Students are required to complete 140 hours of placement between (January to April 2022) .
