Our team is looking for a social media marketing wizard who can help us drive more traffic and improve our SEO positioning. The primary project requirements include: Keyword analysis to determine relevant search terms to our organization A strategy document to outline: Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) requirements to ensure our organization appears on the first page of Google for relevant keywords Social media requirements to increase engagement of followers/likes and share Content Calendar Execution: Timely deployment of all our social media content to drive maximum traffic to our site Creating engaging content for prominent media websites Working with tools and programs such as Canva, Shopify, Snapseed and Square. We’re excited to work with students who can help us not only brainstorm, but also execute a strategy to achieve: "Being the top-ranked result for the keywords 'Handmade Jewelry Vancouver & Canadian Jewelry Brand'" Increase brand awareness across Canada This is a great project for students to prove their digital marketing expertise to future employers, as the impact of their work on this project can be easily measured and communicated.
Digital Content Creation
We need 3 students, either individually or as a team. We would like students to help us with creating content that is aligned with our vision, mission, and sector. We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization. We have done an assessment of our current website and social media and have a complete report in hand. We would like you to help us make the necessary changes to our content. To accomplish this, we expect the student(s) will: Write blog articles, email newsletters/sequences and other content pieces on assigned topics Assist with a social media video launch to promote our organization Evaluate recent successful user-generated campaigns, preferably in our sector Identify media outlets that are most beneficial to share our story Ultimately, you will be working on content creation for our organization, including video, social media, and other collateral that we can use as go-to marketing tools. Level Up - Social Media Content Producer
Number of students required to work in team: ( 2 teams of 4 students) This project could appeal to students in digital marketing programs or media production. Get Glasses Online is a new e-commerce retailer specializing in affordable prescription glasses and sunglasses. Our goal is to be a national leader in eyewear e-commerce. We would like students to help us with creating entertaining and engaging shareable video content on TikTok, IG, YouTube and Facebook, and working with our Content Marketing Specialist to create static posts utilizing photography and basic design.. The main tasks for this project will be: · Create video content for all social media platforms · Create image content for all social media platforms · Ensure content is timely and on-trend · Working closely with SEO and content specialist/marketing team Our ideal team will have great creative acumen and skilled in storytelling and production with an appetite for experimentation. In addition, the ideal team will have a ‘creator’ mindset, and keep up-to-date on social media content trends and will most importantly be idea-driven.

Celeb Secrets is looking for multiple digital marketing wizards to help coordinate content for our growing social media handles! This team will lead the social and digital strategy for Celeb Secrets and Celeb Secrets Country's social media handles. As a social media coordinator, your responsibilities will include Developing, implementing and managing our social media strategy by creating a content calendar; Researching audience preferences and discovering current trends within our demographic, reporting relevant insights; Creating (and coordinating) engaging captions and content for social media posts on various platforms; Working with social media director(s) to ensure content is informative and appealing; and scheduling content on our platforms either manually or through marketing tools.
YouTube Animation/Video about Small Towns of Canada
Number of individual students required: 4 students, any Province or Territory, Canada 1000 Towns of Canada 1000towns.ca is a digital platform connecting small town communities and travellers. We launched about 150 unique pages of Top Places to Visit in the Town. We would like students to help us with creating small YouTube animations/videos about small Canadian towns that are aligned with our vision, mission, and sector. You can check previous videos on 1000 Towns of Canada YouTube channel.ca to clarify our formats. We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization. To accomplish this, we expect the student(s) will: Choose min 8 topics, discuss it with the 1000 Towns of Canada team Create animations/videos Publish them on the YouTube channel and on Facebook/Instagram/Twitter Ultimately, you will be working on content creation for our organization. We are looking for someone with an interest in Market Research who is excited by the idea of researching prospective clients, vetting them for company fit, and organizing them into a well-structured Google Sheet. The research will include: Target market research in two categories: Advertising Agencies (cutting edge agencies in Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, Calgary) & Brands (large brands with headquarters in Canada) Building a well-structured Google Sheet that includes the following data: Company Name, Best Contact Person, Contact Info, Company Website, Company Size, Company's most recent commercial, Company's Instagram Handle, and other relevant data. Project Scope: By the end of the project, we would be looking for a well-compiled Google Sheet that includes the above data. The number of companies that we expect to be researched and compiled into the spreadsheet is going to be dependent on what is feasible within the 80 hours of work you will be given on this project through the LevelUP program. Quality over quantity is important to us, and we understand that detailed research can take time. Together, we can set targets for the project before we kick-off. As a rough estimation, we'd imagine the hours allotted to the project will allow for research and organization of quality data for roughly 50 agencies and 50 brands.
