The main goal of this project is to create a mobile app design (UI/UX) for Haletale Inc. that will be based on the existing webapp. The mobile app should be built using the existing backend. Existing backend is built using Ruby on Rails and deployed on AWS
Field Sales & Marketing
In the sales project, students will actively collaborate with Studental's sales team to understand the sales process, contribute to sales strategies, and work on increasing student enrollment in the dental coverage program. The aim is to improve the effectiveness of sales efforts and achieve measurable growth in student participation.
Transaction Return Reminder System
The goal of this project is to build a reminder system for transactions that will help users to not miss the return date for any transaction. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: - Developing a reminder system software that can be integrated with Savi Finance's existing software. - Designing a user interface for the reminder system that is intuitive and easy to use. - Testing the software to ensure that it is functioning properly and that all features are working as expected. - Optimizing the software runtime performance and assessing areas for improvement. - Researching other variables that can improve the functionality of the reminder system.
Redesign Emails for Haletale Inc.
The goal of this project is to redesign the emails going out of Haletale platform. These are mostly notifications. The backend technology is Ruby on Rails. Team will support in walking thought this the code base. Expertise in HTML and CSS is needed in order to make changes to the emails.
Mobile App UI / UX Design & Prototype
Our company would like to explore designing a prototype for a native mobile application version of our current web based product. We currently have a lot of traffic to our product via the web and we would like to start to attempt to capture some of that user activity via a mobile application. Tasks may include: Conducting background research on our existing web application for the product. Identifying key areas of our current product and how they might translate to a mobile application. Learning and using various software design tools. We strongly recommend students learn how to use Figma as this is the latest and greatest tool currently available. Creation of a screen by screen UX / UI prototype of a native mobile application which can be used on both iOS and Android Conducting UX / UI testing with real potential users potentially involving paper prototypes or other software tools to support this
Integration of Haletale Platform with Google Drive, Dropbox, and OneDrive
The main goal for the project is to integrate the existing Haletale platform with Google Drive, Dropbox, and OneDrive to allow users to store data as needed. This will involve several different steps for the learners, including: - Understanding the existing Haletale platform and its architecture. - Researching the APIs and documentation for Google Drive, Dropbox, and OneDrive. - Developing a plan for seamless integration with the existing platform. - Implementing the integration with the chosen cloud storage services. - Testing the integrated system for functionality and security. - Providing documentation and training for users on how to utilize the integrated storage options.
Infrastructure Systems Dev Ops CI/CD Role
The main goal for the project is to implement and manage the infrastructure systems for Savi Finance's Personal Finance Planning SaaS Web Application and companion Mobile App. This includes setting up and maintaining the development operations (Dev Ops) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery.
