Audiobook Narrators and Translators

This project will begin on August 1st following a kick-off meeting and orientation for all student-hires. The project will end on September 3rd, 2022. The Antarctic Institute of Canada (AIC) is a non-profit organization that conducts research activities, academic mentorship programs, and equity building through a variety of government-funded work-initiatives for undergraduate and graduate students. The AIC is seeking 25 (twenty-five) post-secondary students currently enrolled in a post-secondary program to translate, narrate, and record audiobooks using manuscripts from our catalog. Audiobooks will be targeted toward market-segments within children’s & youth literature. This project is projected to take 80-hours between August 1st and September 3rd.

Learning Resource Creation (Phase 3)

Welcome to Impact Learning! Impact Learning is a first of its kind educational services agency that supports experts and passionate wisdom holders share their knowledge with others. All of our services are very custom and bespoke, which means that our clientele has been limited to people who can afford these types of 1:1 support. For this project, we would like to research what types of resources exist to support people with the course/program/learning creation process, and then begin to create our own! Building on from Phase Two of this project. Phase two will begin the website integration and marketing of these resources.

To continue offering the best resources and the best giveaways, we want to update our knowledge base on student enrollment numbers & tuition costs for colleges/universities in Canada, from the 2021-22 school year. This project requires experience using Google Sheets and searching for data on provincial sites & school sites.

Task 1- Website Translation

We would like applicants to help us with translating a section of website into your own language. We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization.
