Virtual Internship with Bachelor of International Economics Students (F21)
The Vancouver School of Economics (VSE) is consistently ranked the top economics school in Canada and among the top 25 worldwide. Students from more than 50 countries learn from leading experts in economics, finance, and international trade. The Bachelor of International Economics (BIE) program is a rigorous direct entry program accepting under 4% of applicants with core courses in economics, finance, and mathematics from the VSE and UBC Sauder School of Business. We are offering interested companies the opportunity to work with our students this fall through Virtual Internships or Placements. Students will work together in groups of 2 or more. Students trained in: Accounting and investment theory Advanced data analysis and quantitative methods for economics Business, government, and non-profit policy analysis Cost-benefit analysis Empirical research methodologies International trade Processes and issues in economic development Theory and practice in finance Financial forecasting and modeling
