Our intern was absolutely amazing. Took on more than I thought she could handle and delivered the project ahead of time and asked for more! The supervisor provided good structure and milestones. Everything went smoothly.

Professor Gino Bordignon was very supportive from the outset and appreciated the commercial context of our offering, including its entrepreneurial and start-up stage character. The 4 students we engaged were, as Gino had promised, reasonably well versed in mortgage financing, to pre-qualify them for work with us. The students engaged well despite the imitation to virtual meetings. We were determined to assign work that fit within our corporate plan, but also fit the skill set and interests of each student who would take it on. I think that generally we succeeded with this, and each of the 4 students took on something with a sense of ownership and autonomy. From there on, the turnaround times and delivery of completed work were not as precisely confirmed as I would have preferred, but that was as much my responsibility as supervisor. We tried to balance the commitment of time and effort between the forma study regime and our internship work. In the end, the work completed has been satisfactory and definitely moved us along in our plan to test market reaction to our offering.

Thank you to our student team 'Team 3' and Instructor Renata Kobe from the Supply Chain Management Marketing and Business Planning IBM 2001 course. Ms. Kobe did an excellent job creating a cross-functional team including students from Supply Chain Management Marketing, Business Planning, Accounting and Media to work on our Merchandising project. The students worked independently with little supervision needed and did an incredible job researching and analyzing all vendor options for CCHA merchandising, culminating in a detailed and well researched report and recommendations and a well executed presentation. As a volunteer run organization, our most valuable resources are time and people. The student's work and efforts have eliminated months of work for our board and have moved us leaps and bounds forward in our mission to support Canadian living with Congenital Heart Disease.

Throughout the project the team worked very well with a completely virtual environment and met weekly with the CEO and presented their results and sought clarification when needed. The team were professional, proactive and self-motivated throughout the project. They brought analytic, presentation and coding skills to this project and created the foundation of a benchmark tool which Operartis will use to engage industry firms in establishing benchmarks for this ubiquitous industry problem. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to work with the team.

I've worked with college students before and it's almost always been positive. However, St. Clair College went above and beyond what we expected. The survey analysis was not only well done, the dashboard they created was off the chart phenomenal. The presentations were very professional. Most importantly, the finds they presented to us will be used in significant ways to help grow our organization. We'll be focusing on recommendations they presented to us. We're also hoping to incorporate the dashboard they created to track customer satisfaction with our organization and ways to expand our offerings through subscriptions and on-line store.

- Students & Instructor were collaboratively working together with us, Industry partner (IP) to render success for students in project. - Growth areas & gaps are present for all 3 entities, students, instructor & IP as part of a continuous improvement process for the IP. - Lessons Learned will increase probability for IP to render a much more efficient & effective approach in the next Riipen project cycle. - We wish students the best in their career and professional success as a direct result of this positive engagement.
