Loyalist College’s Construction and Surveying Engineering programs equip students with the skills needed for today’s industry demands. Our Construction Engineering Technicians blend scientific knowledge with engineering applications, providing practical solutions in construction management. They are proficient in project planning and adept at using modern technologies for design and implementation, all while adhering to sustainability standards.


Our Surveying Engineering Technicians are expereinced in precision measurement and land surveying. They utilize the latest in geospatial technology, including GIS and GPS, to deliver accurate land assessments and boundary resolutions.


By partnering with Loyalist College, companies gain access to a pool of talented individuals who bring fresh perspectives, adaptability, and hands-on expertise to the table. Our students complete 140 placement hours working with industry professionals, which not only enhances their learning but also provides immediate value to their employers. They are ready to contribute to your success and lead the way in the construction and surveying industries.

Project deliverables will vary depending on the scope of the project. These will be agreed upon by the educator and partnering organization.


*Some final project deliverables might include: 

  1. A 10-15 minute presentation on key findings and recommendations
  2. A detailed report including their research, analysis, insights and recommendations


To satisfy course requirements, students might also need to submit reflective documentation on their placement experience to the College Placement Coordinator and faculty.
