Strategic Marketing for Maritime Sustainable Technology Integration
Vault Maritime, an innovator in the marine industry, specializes in designing and manufacturing structures certified for marine environments. These structures are integral for housing cutting-edge sustainable technologies such as Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Fuel Cells, and alternative fuels. Vault's expertise extends to creating shore-side structures for marine shore power and vessel charging solutions. These structures are not just technologically advanced but also play a pivotal role in the maritime industry's decarbonization efforts. Despite the vital role these structures play in housing and protecting key technologies, they often remain secondary in consideration. Vault Maritime, with its deep expertise and industry knowledge, is uniquely positioned as one of the few companies dedicated to this niche within the marine sector. The primary objective of Vault Maritime is to cement its position as the leading brand in the market for both onboard and onshore marine structures. The project's challenge lies in navigating the complex landscape of the global commercial marine market, characterized by a small yet influential group of decision-makers. Vault Maritime aims to achieve global recognition and brand leadership through strategic clarification of product lines, company messaging, and marketing approaches.

The primary objective of Vault Maritime is to cement its position as the leading brand in the market for both onboard and onshore marine structures. The project's challenge lies in understating the global opportunity for shore power and shore charging and on vessel applications. First the team must understating the International Marine Organization decarbonization mandate and how it impacts new and refit vessels and their segments for onboard applications and shore power and shore charging for different port types. Vault despite being a small company is working with the likes of ABB, Siemens and General Electric, this is a positive and a negative as Vault is going to have to raise funds to manage the larger project and to capture as much of the global market as possible. Vault Maritime aims to develop a business plan backed with accurate market research that outlines our current market position and advantage along with the market opportunities.
Design Guide for Marine Class-Certified Structures to House Sustainable Technologies
Vault Maritime would like to create an engineering design guide for marine class-certified structures to house sustainable technologies on board commercial vessels to house sustainable technologies such as battery energy storage, fuel cell compressors, and alternative fuels. Vault structures will also be used for shore charging and shore power applications. The design guide will be used to help manufacturing partners to understand the manufacturing requirements needed for structure certification. The design guide must follow the marine class certification rules of ABS, DNV, Lloyds Registry and the US Coast Guard. The project allows for design creativity and innovation in structural engineering, electrical engineering, and HVAC, yet must be class-certifiable and work in both the 20’ and 40’ ISO container footprints.
VAULT Maritime North America Training Program
The goal of this project is to build a plan and identify grants and funding for VAULT Maritime's North America Training Program. This program will offer in-the-field project training for new and experienced trades interested in accelerating their learning and bringing their knowledge back to North America. The learners will be paid for their work abroad.
