Multi-Media Editor / Animator - Feb 2025

We are seeking students to work in multi-media production environment. Documentary footage is converted to Animated sequences blended with additional background environment assets. Stylistic elements are developed in-line with the established current aesthetic standard. This role is also open to 3D Computer Animators. Other optional skills include Digital Paining and/or Animation skills for the animated elements to be created using any animation software the Learner is comfortable with.

Animation Mixed Media Rotoscope Artists - Feb 2025

This Learner placement will contribute to Animated Creations based on documentary interviews. The students will evolve an animated sequence in reference to the topics articulated in the edited shots. Specific scenes will be assigned to participating Learners to Rotoscope, or trace, the faces presented, and also devise a brief narrative segment involving the spoken words. We want you to animate the stories, and elaborate the difficult issues that are relevant to young people on a personal and philosophic level. These projects are initiated by the Director in collaboration with the Learner assigning various tasks to develop the narrative. I am seeking several candidates. Each Learner would generate a unique proposal and animate the proposal consultation with the Director of the project.

Image Manipulation Software Development for Rendering Production Pipeline

Skills c++ (programming language) computer simulation python (programming language) file systems image editing rendering data collection data management editing photo manipulation Details The main goal for the project is to further develop a software application for image manipulation specific to a rendering production pipeline. This involves addressing the visual manipulation streaming system through Python and C++ MFC implementation, editing the data collection of pixel streams graphically, and implementing various image filtering methods to deliver the final image data frameworks for ingestion into 2D/3D software. Additionally, vector system data management will be required for visualizations for 3D computer model export to various file system formats. Tasks for learners to complete to achieve the project goal include: - Collaborating with the development team to understand the current state of the software application and its requirements. - Implementing the visual manipulation streaming system through Python and C++ MFC. - Editing the data collection of pixel streams graphically. - Implementing various image filtering methods for the final image data frameworks. - Developing vector system data management for 3D computer model export. - Testing the developed software and making improvements based on additional data. - Providing documentation and training materials for the software application. Mentorship The Software Lead will supervise and guide the process to develop the individual tools necessary for the production pipeline criteria. Documentation with in the software provides insight to the methods already in place by the Head Designer.

Documentary Video Editor 2025

Our organization wants to perform video interviews on current topics that create contemplative responses. The material will be converted to animation talking heads that will need to be edited and visual imagery added to emphasize the talking points. We would like to collaborate with students to help us tell a compelling story through this video. Based on our desired outcomes and the selected topics, we would like to collaborate with students to script and record a voice over for the animation. Students would not need to perform animation element, this would be performed in post.
