My name is Rimsha Nasir. I am a 3rd-year undergrad student at the University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM) campus. My program is a political science major with philosophy and sociology double minors. I hope to pursue a career in law after the completion of my undergrad. Outside of my academics, I am the events associate for the UTM Muslims Students Association, as well as the VP and co-founder for UofThrive a student lead mental health organization. I am an outgoing, passionate, and enthusiastic person and I love to take initiative and work in teams and independently.

Social Media Campaign for Non Profit Organization
Ancestral Hands Midwives is looking for help creating new and engaging social media content. Students would be expected to: Review existing content and conduct a SWOT analysis Conducting social media research for the latest trends to develop infographics materials for the followers Create social media posts (in the form of a one-month content calendar planned out in detail) Design content for Instagram, TikTok and YouTube Convert existing videos into IG and TikTok content Provide recommendations of additional content to create The goal of the campaign is to build brand awareness, gain followers and spread awareness about maternal health disparities. Students can create content using Canva (preferred) or any software, but will need to ensure posts are the proper size for the intended social media platform and that captions adhere to character limits for the given platform. If you're a storyteller, creative writer, content creator and/or have an interest in Black maternal health, we would love to work with you.
Digital Content Creation - Newsletter for Email Marketing Activities
We would like students to help us with creating content that is aligned with our vision, mission, and sector. We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization. The main project is to research and create content based on updates from the official Canada immigration website. Students will then turn such information into a newsletter to be circulated weekly to subscribers email. Ultimately, you will be working on content creation for our organization, including video, social media, and other collateral that we can use as go-to marketing tools. Video & Audio Podcast: Editing & Production
The main goal of this project will be to produce/edit a series of podcast interview episodes that will be used for educating and marketing our mobile applications to our target audience. Sonical.ly is an early stage gaming and education tech startup whose mandate is to make music creation easily accessible to everyone. The company was founded by Juno Award winning K-pop music producer/product designer/educator Elmo Chong and K-pop songwriter/developer/designer Andrew Choi, who are spearheading an exciting new phase of iterative growth towards product market fit.
