Water Conservation Awareness Campaign Research
Transition Salt Spring aims to motivate residents of the Southern Gulf Islands of BC to adopt water conservation practices in their private homes and local businesses. The region faces increasing water scarcity issues, and it is crucial to educate the community on sustainable water usage practices and tools. The goal of this project is to create an engaging and informative awareness campaign that highlights the importance of water conservation and provides practical tips for reducing water consumption. The campaign should leverage best practices from other water conservation programs in island communities. The outreach plan should target various media channels, including social media, local newspapers, and community events, to reach a broad audience. By the end of the project, the team should have a comprehensive strategy and a set of materials ready for implementation.
