Data Entry to generate/expand a prospect database
Chemicals 101 directly markets products research labs. Initial contact with the customer is done by email. To populate a database there is significant time to organize the contacts information. We would like to collaborate with students in data entry to work towards maintaining a functional database. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Familiarizing themselves with our database structure. Transferring data into our databases efficiently. Verifying the accuracy of the data in our databases and making relevant updates. Organizing and retrieving data as requested. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Providing assistance in creating new databases.
Literature Research
Creating an innovative beverage requires extensive research. I have already paved the way with a great deal of research, but I am looking for some help. I would like to collaborate with students to support literature review by identifying relevant papers and documenting their basic information. Tasks include: Familiarizing themselves with the inclusion / exclusion criteria to determine which studies are relevant. Searching for relevant studies in databases using keywords and documenting the process. Screening the titles and abstracts of papers to determine their relevance to our project. Documenting relevant papers that can be included in our literature review, including information such as authors and date of publication. Reading the full texts of relevant papers and summarizing their results.
Data Entry for Film Footage-Europe
Our production company films many hours of footage about buffalo/bison and related topics, plus interviews with experts that need to be logged into excel spreadsheets for information retrieval during the editing process particularly for our European footage. We would like to collaborate with students in the data entry. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Familiarizing themselves with our simple, yet detailed, database structure. Transferring data into our databases efficiently, so that is it organized and easily retrievable. May require some research into identifying animals and locations, and noting interviews with experts (names, positions, locations - not transcriptions) Bonus steps in the process would also include: Providing assistance in creating new databases, and conducting research for marketing documentaries.
Oct-Dec 2024 Research Associate - Grad students preferred
The research assistants will support the research initiatives under the guidance of our team in economics, project finance, SPACS, Venture Capital/PE in this climate, and update a variety of reports we have. We are also looking to have them published. Also looking for data scraping for leads in North America with a variety of filters. Graduate students are more suitable for this role. DELIVERABLES One detailed Research report to be published on our website
DOCUMENTARY DATA LOGGING-TRANSCRIPTION-RESEARCH
The main project goal is to facilitate the organization and accessibility of background material for documentary and book-related projects, particularly in logging film footage/photos, transcribing interviews, conducting marketing and PR research to further the productivity of the company. This requires detailed scrutiny, knowledge of excel spreadsheets, in-depth research skills, curiosity, adaptability to the needs of various projects, creativity and critical thinking, and the possibility of writing material for website promotion.
Literature Screening for Carbon Measurement Integration
Students will engage in the following tasks and activities to achieve the project goal: 1. Literature Review and Screening Task: Perform a comprehensive review of academic literature, white papers, and industry reports on carbon measurement technologies. Activity: Identify key technologies such as infrared gas analyzers, LIDAR, hyperspectral sensors, and others. Deliverable: A detailed literature review report highlighting the most relevant carbon measurement methods. 2. Technology Comparison and Feasibility Analysis Task: Compare the identified carbon measurement technologies based on factors like accuracy, range, power efficiency, weight, and compatibility with the our aerial vehicle. Activity: Conduct a comparative analysis, considering how each technology could be adapted to our UAVs. Deliverable: A feasibility matrix comparing the technologies and a recommendation report on the most suitable options. 3. Application Area Analysis Task: Research and analyze areas of interest where carbon measurement is most impactful, such as wildfire emissions, forest carbon sequestration, and urban-industrial monitoring. Activity: Identify key global regions and sectors where Bayes Studio’s aerial vehicle could provide carbon measurement data, complementing its wildfire monitoring. Deliverable: A report outlining the areas of interest with data on carbon impact and potential monitoring opportunities. 4. Sensor Integration Requirements Task: Outline the technical specifications required for integrating carbon measurement sensors into the aerial system. Activity: Work with technical specifications for sensor weight, power consumption, data transmission, and sensor accuracy. Deliverable: A technical requirements document that outlines the key factors to consider for sensor integration.
