The goal of this project is to create a website that will be used and published by Utilis Innovations Corp.

The website will be simple, but have all the elements required, taking into account full website design – UX and UI. All you will have as a starting point is the logo. And if you want to provide recommendations for a new one, I’m all ears.

Treat this as full client/business relationship.

In order to complete the task, the student(s) will need to

1. Interview me and gain an understand of the business and what the needs are

2. Look at other websites to get ideas on what are possibilities, and use those as a catalyst to create their own ideas

3. Analyze different site hosting ideas – currently the URL is parked with GoDaddy. The analysis should consider cost of hosting, cost of platform (wordpress vs others), ease of making changes in the future with different publishing software

4. Provide different mock up options designs of the pages, the UX, and UI

5. Integrate social media buttons

6. Create several different pages

7. Analyze desktop vs mobile viewing, and optimize

8. Test their website fully

9. Be welcome to fix any errors or make any changes that are required

The end deliverable will be a published website

I will provide students with as much time as they need from me to provide direction as the project progresses. I like to have short and frequent updates to ensure that there is no confusion and to provide feedback and guidance along the way. I am a big believer in the only stupid question is the one that is not asked, and I’m happy to share my knowledge and experience.
