The successful candidate will play a crucial role in connecting with high school principals, teachers, students, and parents involved in the program, ensuring effective communication, and supporting the growth and success of the initiative. The position requires familiarity with clickup.com and MS Excel, access to transportation in at least five Gateway cities of Massachusetts and Boston neighborhoods, a valid driver's license, and a passion for a career in public service.
Responsibilities:
- Follow-up Communication: Reach out to high school principals, teachers, students, and parents involved in the Global Deeds Civic Action Program through various channels, including email, phone calls, and in-person meetings.
- Technical Proficiency: Utilize clickup.com and MS Excel to manage and organize outreach efforts, maintain contact databases, and track communication progress.
- Program Understanding: Gain a comprehensive understanding of the Global Deeds Civic Action Program and effectively communicate its goals, benefits, and outcomes to stakeholders.
- Community Engagement: Foster positive relationships with community members, educators, and students to encourage ongoing participation in Civic Dinners and the Global Deeds Civic Action Summit.
- Logistical Support: Assist in the coordination of program events, including Civic Dinners and the Civic Action Summit, by providing logistical support and ensuring smooth execution.
- Regional Outreach: Travel within at least five Gateway cities of Massachusetts and various Boston neighborhoods to connect with schools and community members, promoting the program and addressing any concerns.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless communication and support for program participants.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in using clickup.com and MS Excel for organizational and communication purposes.
- Access to a car or reliable public transportation within at least five Gateway cities of Massachusetts and Boston neighborhoods.
- Valid driver's license, age 18 or above.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Passion for community engagement and a desire for a career in public service.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
