Details

DLA & Associates Inc is in the process of developing a line of natural ingredients to improve shelf life of various foods. Amaranth is known to have such properties and the company is exploring this botanical ingredient as a food additive with preservation properties.

We want to better understand our competitive environment and market potential.

The research will include:

  • Overview of natural ingredients used in the food industry as preservatives
  • Industry size and market potential
  • Competitive landscape and SWOT analysis
  • Strategic positioning of our technology.

The final project can come in the form of a report. For Level Up students, students can pick certain areas to research if there is not enough time for all of these topics, for example - just an overview of the market, or just a competitive analysis, etc.

Deliverables

The project will involve the following activities:

- market research

- literature review

- data analysis

- report writing

The deliverable will include a final report.

Mentorship

We will provide at least 5 hours of mentorship and supervision. We will be available for ad-hoc guidance sessions and tutoring.
