The main objective of this project is to develop and maintain cutting-edge software solutions for Wouessi Inc., tailored to meet the diverse needs and objectives of our clients. Additionally, the project aims to provide comprehensive IT support and managed services to ensure the optimal performance and reliability of our digital infrastructure.


Problem to Solve/Expected Outcome:

Learners participating in this project will be tasked with developing innovative software solutions and providing ongoing support to ensure the seamless operation of our digital services. By the end of the project, learners are expected to achieve proficiency in software development methodologies, IT project management, and technical support practices within the context of Wouessi's digital ecosystem.



Deliverables

Tasks for Learners:


Software Development:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop custom software solutions tailored to meet client requirements.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the quality and reliability of developed software products.

IT Support and Managed Services:

  • Provide technical support to internal teams and external clients, addressing issues related to software functionality, performance, and usability.
  • Proactively monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, networks, and systems to optimize performance and minimize downtime.


Activities to Undertake:


Requirement Gathering and Analysis:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for new software projects and IT support services.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and project plans, outlining the scope, deliverables, and timelines for each initiative.


Software Development Lifecycle:

  • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Engage in code reviews, peer programming, and knowledge sharing sessions to promote collaboration and continuous improvement within the development team.


IT Support and Incident Management:

  • Respond to support tickets and service requests in a timely manner, troubleshooting issues and providing resolution or escalation as needed.
  • Document support processes, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions to facilitate knowledge sharing and improve support efficiency over time.




Mentorship

Staff Time and Guidance:

  • Learners will have access to experienced software developers and IT support professionals who will provide guidance, mentorship, and technical assistance throughout the project.
  • Regular check-in meetings will be scheduled to discuss project progress, address challenges, and provide feedback on performance.

Access to Tools and Technology:

  • Learners will have access to the necessary tools, software, and development environments required for software development and IT support tasks.

  • Learners will have access to relevant data, documentation, and resources necessary for understanding project requirements, conducting analysis, and developing software solutions.
