The Emprint Lab is currently working on an AI-powered Conversation Facilitation System designed to transform workplace communication, resolve conflicts, and foster emotionally safe environments. By integrating real-time insights, emotional intelligence (EQ) coaching, and AI-driven analytics, we help organizations create inclusive and productive work cultures while reducing workplace issues such as disengagement, inequities, and miscommunication. I hope the student team can receive a lot of value out of a partnership with us. We look to deeply give back to them by providing constructive feedback and empathetic communication as well as accolades for the parts they do complete and execute on with us. Please see the project scope below.

Project Scope:

We are looking for students to support The Emprint Lab in analyzing, improving, and leveraging workplace communication data to enhance our system’s predictive capabilities and user insights.

Students can engage in one or more of the following ways:

1. Analysis of customer segmentation relative to different products and services, to enhance marketing campaigns and refocus your products/services.

  • Analyze user interactions and platform engagement to create customer segmentation models.
  • Identify key user personas (HR professionals, leadership teams, employees) to enhance system personalization.

2. Provide data-driven insights on how different workplace teams interact with the system and what features they engage with most.

  • Employee attrition and disengagement.
  • Workplace conflicts and resolution success rates.
  • Patterns in leadership accountability and employee sentiment shifts.
  • Use historical data to forecast early warning signs of workplace issues, helping HR teams proactively address concerns before they escalate.
  • Investigate predictive models to understand trends in sales, attrition rates, and profits that impact your business.
  • Propose new ways to visualize data through tables and plots that can provide new insights for managers.

3. Data Extraction, Raw Data Collection & Transformation

Gather raw data through methods such as:

  • Surveying HR professionals on workplace communication challenges.
  • Analyzing public datasets related to employee engagement and corporate culture.
  • Structured feedback collection from employees and managers using anonymized workplace scenarios.
  • Clean, prepare, and transform workplace communication datasets to ensure consistency and quality for AI-powered analysis.
  • Optimize structured and unstructured data from conversational insights, performance feedback, and employee sentiment reports.

4. Data Visualization & Dashboard Proposals

  • Propose new ways to visualize workplace insights through:
  • Interactive dashboards for HR leaders.
  • Data plots showing trends in communication and workplace dynamics.
  • Employee engagement heat maps to highlight productivity or conflict zones.
