Phase 1: Training Phase (about 10 hours)
Students will be provided with all the background information and training in terms of the project outline and deliverables over the course of their time with us. Areas focused align with our project and will focus on research gathering and connecting students with relevant contacts for support.
Phase 2: Project Execution Phase (about 70 hours)
We need to develop marketing material next year, however, Seleste's brand hasn't yet been fleshed out. We need to think critically about how we need to present ourselves to our customers and come up with a brand book for Seleste. The student will understand our customers and the problem we're solving and come up with the colours, fonts, tone and overall look of our app. This may also come up with innovative ways to express our brand like audio design.
The deliverable may include one or all of the following:
- A document on how we can improve our storytelling to demonstrate our brand
- Updates to our app design and components
- Optional - Design of materials like shirts, pitch decks, swag, etc
Onboarding calls with the students to explain the scope of the project and set milestones. There will be weekly check-ins to make sure that the students do not have any questions or concerns. Additional support will be provided on an ad-hoc basis as I am happy to meet if need be. The student will also be able to talk to the other interns for help or advice. The student can also connect to our advisors one of whom is a business advisor who can help make the recommendations and guide the student when doing research and UX design. There will also be regular updates that will be provided by the students in terms of their progress.
We will plan to communicate with our virtual intern(s) using phone calls, email and through the company slack.
