Do you have a marketing research challenge that you would like to tackle? Guided by your organizational marketing objectives, a group of students will gather and analyze data beginning with problem analysis, and leading to a final research report. The report will include key insights and strategic recommendations to address your organization's challenge. The students will cover vital topics such as research design, data collection, sampling, and data analysis.

Project Examples

Beginning in January, students in groups of 3-7 will work with your company to identify your needs and provide actionable recommendations, based on their market research and analysis.

Project activities might include but are not limited to:

  • Market segmentation to identify the ideal target market for a new or existing product or service.
  • Develop a pricing strategy based on industry/competitor research and customer surveys.
  • Identify key messaging via customer focus groups that investigate the competitive landscape for a new or existing product or service.
Companies must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:

Provide a dedicated contact who is available to answer periodic emails or phone calls over the duration of the project to address students' questions.

Provide an opportunity for students to present their work and receive feedback.
