Project Examples

Requirements

Students can complete a substantial project for your organization over the placement period. We suggest providing a starting project, but as the placement goes on there may be other duties or projects the student is asked to complete as well. Providing a central project creates structure for the internship, and gives the student (and company) a tangible goal.

Program outline

Students who are in their 2nd or 3rd year of study can look for placements in Autumn, Spring, and Summer. Students have the opportunity to apply classroom concepts to the challenges of business life as they gain valuable, relevant work experience as an intern student within your organization. Students are available from the following programs:

  • Accountancy
  • Banking
  • Economics

Students have numerical, mathematical, statistical, and econometric skills; are able to manipulate and interpret key economic and financial data series; and extend quantitative and research skills through their project modules.

Students can complete tasks in the following areas: public audit, taxation, financial reporting, management accounting, quantitative economics and finance, business law, accounting information system, corporate social responsibility and corporate governance, research methods, and accounting theory and regulations.
