Project Examples
Requirements
Starting in October, 3rd and 4th year Management students, in teams of 5-6, will spend 150 hours per team working with your organization to develop a recruitment and selection strategy for a specific role.
Based on the information that you provide about your organization and goals, student groups provide tailored recommendations and an actionable strategy to optimize your staffing plan for the selected job.
Sample projects include, but are not limited to:
- Performing a detailed audit of your current staffing process and providing tailored recommendations to strengthen your system.
- Conducting a job analysis on your target role to identify key competencies and characteristics to seek during the recruitment process.
- Helping your organization develop a staffing strategy for current/future personnel needs.
- Designing a recruitment plan to attract specific types of potential candidates.
- Developing/recommending tools for your selection process (e.g., application blanks, structured interviews, assessments).
