Our Goal - Make the practice of forgiveness mainstream and create a hub for similar organizations to collaborate - Following the loss of his only son Tariq in 1995 to a senseless, gang-related murder, Azim Khamisa chose the path of forgiveness and compassion rather than revenge. This amazing choice led to the establishment of the Tariq Khamisa Foundation and the subsequent peace movement which has reached millions. Peace Thru Forgiveness is a continuation of this multi-decade effort to create world peace. For 30 years, Azim has been teaching and inspiring millions to practice forgiveness in their daily lives. Azim is a successful international investment banker with over 45 years of experience, he has conducted business in Africa, the Middle East, Canada, the USA, Europe, and Asia. Strategic Planning for Peace Thru Forgiveness
Peace Thru Forgiveness is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting reconciliation and understanding through the practice of forgiveness. The organization seeks to expand its reach and impact, but currently lacks a comprehensive strategic plan to guide its future initiatives. The goal of this project is to develop a strategic plan that aligns with the organization's mission and vision, while also addressing its current challenges and opportunities. The overarching question is "How might we create a collaborative strategy that mainstreams forgiveness as the portal for world peace and lifts up the work of each of our partners?" The plan should identify key objectives, strategies, and actions that will enable Peace Thru Forgiveness to effectively fulfill its mission. Learners will apply their knowledge of strategic planning, non-profit management, and organizational development to create a cohesive and actionable plan. This project will provide an opportunity for students to engage with real-world challenges faced by non-profit organizations and contribute to a meaningful cause.

Marketing Strategy - Peace Through Forgiveness with Azim Khamisa
We want students to help us build a marketing strategy to grow and engage our target market. We’d like to know how we can maximize different channels and what will work best for us. The main questions we’d like students to help us answer are the following: How should we promote our company? What channels should we utilize? What budget is appropriate for advertising? What messaging should we use?
