Responsibilities Come up with fun, visually appealing content ideas for our social platforms and newsletter Producing content for social media and other marketing events Work alongside the team to create a monthly plan for social media strategies; Assist in the growth of the brand by raising awareness through various social media platforms; Monitor postings to ensure the brand message is constant from the terminology used to images posted; Aid in the daily aspects of promoting the businesses campaigns; Interact with followers, potential customers, and candidates by communicating and answering questions through the company's social pages; Assist in implementing plans to increase followers on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram; Assist in the creation and implementation of a monthly editorial; Help create content as dictated by the monthly editorial calendar. The main goal of the project - writing scripts for guided meditations on the topics above. Researching and learning more about the best way to deliver the content on the topics above. Reviewing and providing feedback for the guided meditations produced by the rest of the content team - for new and existing scripts Producing psychoeducational content for social media and other marketing events What an ideal candidate for the role looks like? Preferably someone with clinical expertise or knowledge in Psychology, Mental Health or Mindfulness Meditation. Someone with a client-centred and spiritually-integrated approach with training and experience in therapeutic modalities that can include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Existential Therapy, Islamic Psychology models, etc Nice to have - you are a trained psychiatrist or clinical psychologist with deep expertise in evidence-based treatments
Software Engineer Intern (Mobile App Development)

Responsibilities Working directly with our co-founders, CTO (from Phreesia) and Lead Developer (from Ubisoft), the intern will be able to contribute directly to the app development workflow, from ideation to development to testing - an end-to-end full-stack development experience. There will be potential to specialize in one area if the intern has a keen interest in it. There are many exciting features in the plan which the intern will get direct hands-on experience working on - such as integrating analytics, in-app animations, new app screens, implementation of a referral system, personalization (which may require some basic machine learning), and more. The intern will have a good amount of responsibility for the work they do. We will help you grow from day 1 by treating you as part of our team and not just as an intern. Writing maintainable code that can be quickly updated when needed, has a low volume of bugs, and is readable and easily understood by other engineers on the team. Stay up to date on the latest technologies in app development, incorporating those changes which can accelerate our development speed and improve quality Work with product and design to create technical design and engineering plan for new features Work with web engineers to A|B test new features and UX changes, optimizing for the best outcomes for our users and the business Keep a pulse on user feedback that comes in via Slack, prioritizing bug fixes that have the greatest impact on our customers and advocating for application improvements that solve common user pain points What an ideal candidate for the role looks like + the tools you will be using through all projects: Must have - prior mobile app development experience - having worked on at least one app development project Must have - Familiarity with continuous integration pipeline and code versioning tools (e.g. git) Experience programming using JavaScript, React Native/library framework Able to deliver high-quality code reviews that reduce defects and support the development of peers Experience working with cloud hosting platforms (eg. AWS, Google Cloud, etc) and/or Firebase Soft skills: Social, willingness to learn, passion for making an impact
