Copyright and IP agreement
Positions available: 2 We have a web application that provides educational tools to Post-Secondary students. The application allows users (mainly faculty members and sometimes students) to submit material. We need to develop several agreements/acknowledgments: One is for our ebook application. The ebook application provides the opportunity for readers to submit material, where it is associated with a specific concept after being peer reviewed. We want a simple statement that the book's reader has to agree upon before submitting their material. The statement should indicate that the submitted material is original, that the reader allows the publisher to publish the material, and has its copyright as well. Another application allows the faculty members to submit quiz questions. Again, we need to develop an agreement that faculty members have to approve before submitting any material. The agreement should indicate that the submitted material is original, that the faculty member allows the publisher to publish the material, transfer the copyright to the publisher, and then we need a special clause that allows the publisher to pay royalties to the faculty members for using their submitted material. Thanks!
