We are looking for 5 locations per province along Highway 1 in small towns 30,000 and less and 10 locations for all 3 Territories in Canada. We are looking for small companies in a broad range of industries that fit our 4 company pillars.

Tasks:
- Conducting interviews to assess suitability for the project
- Conducting one-on-one email communications
- Researching key small business industries
- Performing data entry
- Arranging video calls
- Making phone calls
By the end of the project you will have:
- A comprehensive schedule of the businesses that will be part of our live series
- A report outlining the various industries that fit our company pillars
- A journal outlining your discovery process and what you learn
- Project Supervision: We will assign a project supervisor or mentor who can provide ongoing guidance and feedback throughout the project.
- Training and Workshops: We offer training sessions and workshops to enhance students' skills and knowledge in research, data entry, communication, and interviewing.
- Resource Access: Provide access to relevant databases, research materials, and tools needed for data collection and analysis.
- Technology Support: Ensure that students have access to necessary technologies, such as email, video conferencing software, and data management tools.
- Networking Opportunities: Connect students with professionals in the relevant industries and geographic areas to expand their network and gain insights.
- Travel Coordination Team Collaboration: Facilitate communication and collaboration between students working on the research and the travel coordination team.
- Reporting and Documentation: Provide templates and guidelines for documenting research findings and creating reports.
- Troubleshooting Support: Offer assistance in problem-solving and overcoming challenges that students may encounter during the research and outreach process.
- Time Management and Project Planning: Help students develop project timelines and plans to ensure they can manage their time effectively and meet deadlines.
- Cultural Awareness Training: If applicable, provide training or resources to help students understand the cultural nuances and dynamics of small towns and territories along Highway 1.
- Marketing and Outreach Support: Assist students in creating outreach materials and strategies to effectively reach out to potential businesses, including guidance on conveying the project's goals.
- Flexibility and Adaptability: Encourage students to be adaptable and open to adjusting their approach as needed to address unforeseen challenges.
- Feedback and Evaluation: Provide constructive feedback on students' work, both during and after the project, to help them improve their skills and approach.
- Recognition and Rewards: Recognize and reward students' achievements and contributions to the project to motivate and inspire their continued dedication.
- Mental Health and Well-being: Promote a healthy work-life balance and offer resources for managing stress and well-being, especially if the project involves travel and long hours.
