Details

To establish a process for tracking key labour market metrics (FTE's, participation, incomes, etc.) for PEI's creative sector workforce using multiple existing or future datasets to enable year-to-year trends analysis that can be shared as a simple infographic with industry and government stakeholders.

Deliverables
  • identify existing datasets and determine their utility for the project
  • propose methods for gathering missing data, if needed
  • engage with stakeholders to identify their needs
  • design a framework for analyzing data to be most useful to stakeholders
  • create a repeatable process or software solution to take data into the framework
  • design an updatable infographic or infographics to convey key labour market information as identified by stakeholders
Mentorship

The students will have access to all of our labour market information data. They will have an average of 2 hours per week access to the Executive Director's time plus occasional access to other staff members.
