We are looking for someone who can help us with Grant Writing and various Applications (Speaker Events, Accelerators, Competitions etc.)

• We would also like to create and Improve the clarity and persuasiveness of our company's grant proposal writing and other submissions. We would like to track various grants and opportunities that could work specifically for Untangle that support our mission and vision statement.

We believe this project will include:

• Assist with defining a company-identified community problem and defining the scope of a corresponding project.
• Develop a needs statement that justifies the need for our project and funding.
• Identify potential sponsors and funding opportunities that are a good fit for our organization and project.
• Interpret a request for proposal (RFP).
• Improve the clarity and persuasiveness of our company's grant proposal writing.
• Complete proposals and applications and track requirements.

We feel funding could come from several sources: grants, speaking opportunities, sponsorship and startup communities.

• Research, plan, write, edit, and revise a persuasive proposal narrative to use in applications
• Research into other grant and program opportunities to support our cause
• Create a short-list of opportunities, create a database, apply before the deadline, track requirements

Students will connect directly with Untangle Money's founder for mentorship and supervision throughout the project. They will liaise with the social media team to communicate successes. The student will need to get up to speed on the status of Untangle Money to understand what opportunities we would be eligible for.
