1) Understand User Research Industry
Get familiar with the industry by attending industry related webinars and reading through blogs. e.g. Nielsen Norman Group, Medium
2) Study the existing East Asia Agencies
Search local agencies that help western companies to expand their business in East Asia, what are the successful and failure cases.
3) Compare the different User Research methods been used in East Asia Market
By talking with industry experts and local people, compare how differently western research methods are adapted to these countries.
Students will connect directly with senior researchers/managers for mentorship throughout the project.
We will be able to provide students with:
- Coaching student in the end to end process of User-Centered Design / User Experience / User Research
- Guidance in translating user insights into product features
- Advice in communication and project management skills
- Expose students to UX industry related conference
