Month: July - August (80 hours total)

The companies that provide learning and development solutions have pivoted from classroom to virtual. Organizations are experiencing zoom fatigue as teams are working remotely.

Your role as a sales and business development associate would be to gauge interest from clients for our programs that can meet clients for are in-person, hybrid or virtual programs. Your key objective is to identify and reach out to potential leads and convert them into opportunities for a variety of solutions that we provide.

Deliverables

Job Description:

· Identify potential leads or organizations with for our solutions.

· Build sales pitches, pitch decks, scripts that can be altered to different prospective clients.

· Identify sales prospecting tools and to see if it fits with the budget, or a simple excel spreadsheet with a list of leads is sufficient.

· Reach out to leads via email and invite them to book a call with you through Calendly and zoom.

· Solicit and follow-up on leads to create sales opportunities.

· Shadow sales calls and start to develop a skill set in prospecting, and sales discovery.

· Regularly execute outbound calls and emails for marketing and sales campaigns

· Add potential opportunities to our CRM tool.

· Work with project manager in sending proposals to clients who are interested

· Help drive attendance/registration for sales/marketing initiatives and open enrolment programs

· Achieve or exceed individual activity metrics

· Perform other duties as assigned

Mentorship

Students will work closely with the primary project manager/s who is supervising and available for questions. This will also include occasional progress meetings where adjustments to the students' tasks and duties can be made if necessary.
