Position Overview:

New Step 4 U (NS4U), is looking for a highly motivated, dynamic, creative, organized, and passionate summer student to help support the Communities Emergency Response through Art Project (CERTA).

• Learn about project lifecycle management through the development of core project management capabilities
• Gain practical experience on how to execute a new project campaign from the creation of PM deliverables (project plans, risk and issues logs, asset management trackers, etc.)
• Learn how to be a leader by motivating and directing cross-functional teams towards a common goal.

Position Details:

• Working in collaboration with the NS4U Executive Director and the operational team to assist in the research, development, planning and execution of the new project.
• Creating and implementing communications and marketing plans including but not limited to developing and administering sponsorship proposals, e-mail messages and social media posts.

Position Requirements:

• Motivated, passionate, confident, and able to work both independently and in a team
• Familiar with technology
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Organized, with exceptional time-management skills
• Experience with social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram), G-Suite, and video creation
• Marketing and project management experience is an asset
• Ability to work remotely
