Details

We want to better understand how jurisdictions in Canada are using Vulnerable Person Registries.

The research will include:

  • Who manages the information?
  • How is the project funded?
  • What types of event trigger release of information and who does the information go to?
  • Privacy/legislative issues?
  • Maintenance and Registration
  • Challenges and Recommendations

Deliverables

The work would initially involve searching for jurisdictions in Canada who have Vulnerable Person Registries.

Contacting these jurisdictions to schedule a time to interview them about their situation.

Produce a report supported by an infographic: What We Heard

Goal is to use this information to supplement Phase 2 which will be a formal literature review.

Mentorship

Students will work closely with the project manager or action team lead who is supervising and available for questions.

Initial contacts will be provided to begin interviews.

Support in drafting the questions, initial contact email and formatting the final report and infographic.
