user interface (ui) user experience (ux) design thinking user-centered design wireframing user research teamwork user interface (ui) design prototyping researchThe main goal for the Sofvie UX/UI for Website and Web App project is to enhance the user experience and interface of the website and web application. A team of students will work together over a seven-week period to understand and solve a UX/UI design problem faced by the company. The students will use their design thinking, research, and teamwork skills to identify areas for improvement and suggest solutions that will result in a more user-centered design. The expected outcome is an improved and more user-friendly website and web app that better serves the needs of its users.
In order to achieve the project goal, the students will need to complete several key tasks, including:
- Research: Conduct user research to understand the current experience of using the website and web app, identify areas for improvement, and gather insights and feedback from users.
- Analysis: Analyze the data collected from the research to understand the pain points and areas of improvement.
- Design: Create wireframes and prototypes of the improved user interface, taking into account the findings from the research and analysis.
- Testing: Test the prototypes with users to gather feedback and validate the design solutions.
- Refinement: Refine the design based on the feedback received from testing and ensure that it meets the needs of users.
- Presentation: Present the final design solutions to the company, along with a report documenting the process and outcome of the project.
To support the students in completing the project, the company will offer the following resources:
- Access to stakeholders: Provide the students with access to key stakeholders, including subject matter experts, product owners, and end users, to gather information and feedback.
- Access to tools and technology: Provide the students with access to the necessary tools and technology, such as design software, research tools, and testing tools, to complete the project.
- Access to data: Provide the students with access to relevant data, such as user research data, analytics data, and customer feedback, to inform the design process.
- Staff support: Assign a dedicated project manager or mentor to support the students throughout the project, answering questions, providing guidance, and offering feedback on their work.
