Details

The main goal for the Sofvie UX/UI for Website and Web App project is to enhance the user experience and interface of the website and web application. A team of students will work together over a seven-week period to understand and solve a UX/UI design problem faced by the company. The students will use their design thinking, research, and teamwork skills to identify areas for improvement and suggest solutions that will result in a more user-centered design. The expected outcome is an improved and more user-friendly website and web app that better serves the needs of its users.

Deliverables

In order to achieve the project goal, the students will need to complete several key tasks, including:

  1. Research: Conduct user research to understand the current experience of using the website and web app, identify areas for improvement, and gather insights and feedback from users.
  2. Analysis: Analyze the data collected from the research to understand the pain points and areas of improvement.
  3. Design: Create wireframes and prototypes of the improved user interface, taking into account the findings from the research and analysis.
  4. Testing: Test the prototypes with users to gather feedback and validate the design solutions.
  5. Refinement: Refine the design based on the feedback received from testing and ensure that it meets the needs of users.
  6. Presentation: Present the final design solutions to the company, along with a report documenting the process and outcome of the project.
Mentorship

To support the students in completing the project, the company will offer the following resources:

  1. Access to stakeholders: Provide the students with access to key stakeholders, including subject matter experts, product owners, and end users, to gather information and feedback.
  2. Access to tools and technology: Provide the students with access to the necessary tools and technology, such as design software, research tools, and testing tools, to complete the project.
  3. Access to data: Provide the students with access to relevant data, such as user research data, analytics data, and customer feedback, to inform the design process.
  4. Staff support: Assign a dedicated project manager or mentor to support the students throughout the project, answering questions, providing guidance, and offering feedback on their work.
