Details

We would like students to help us with creating content that is aligned with our vision, mission, and sector. We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization.

The project is a project that is developing a web-based application to generate synthetic datasets for students. The application is to create datasets either based on tools actual data provided by the user, or the user can create their own customized data sets. The application creates a unique dataset for each studentinstructor, allows the isntructor to create queries, and then marks the students' submissions. The project is composed of three phases.

Deliverables

To accomplish Phases 1-10, we expect the student(s) will:

  • Do some research about the tools that can be used to create different types of synthetic data including tabular, chronological, and data that are presented in tables.
  • Assess the best open-source tool that could be implemented in the creation of the synthetic data.
  • Adopting the selected tools and integrating them into the original code.

Mentorship

Students will work closely with the primary project manager who is supervising and available for questions. This will also include occasional progress meetings where adjustments to the students' tasks and duties can be made if necessary. We will provide the essential material and knowledge that help you in your work.
