Launch a networking event and mixer where communication students in the Department of Communication are given the opportunity to hear talks from industry professionals and to network with them via a one-day event on campus (MacEwan University).

This is Phase II, which will include reporting, accounting, wrawrap-up, follow up communications, etc.

Deliverables
  • Coordinate with MacEwan Career Services Office with planning
  • Hire student volunteers
  • Contact and confirm speakers for the event
  • Handle the planning, preparation, and logistics of the event
  • Promote the event to ensure maximum participation
Mentorship
  • Provide advise and supervise
  • Supervise two students via the Level Up funding
  • Offer guidance and some additional help with resources
