Hi there! We are looking for a student interested in front end development and UI/UX. The project aims to improve our app interface with updates to data visualization screens and polishing features loved by our users. The students will be assisting a team of 4 senior software developers, an experienced product and design team and multiple industry leading advisors.

At Honest Empathy, we are fixated on improving mental healthcare by crafting immersive therapeutic journaling and using AI to reinvent support groups. Project scope:

Current features we plan to build include activities and games that users can play when getting to know each other and building a friendship. A student would work on one activity/game and deliver the following work product -

1. Develop low and high-fidelity wireframes that our engineers can use to make our feature concepts a reality (Web app wireframes which are mobile responsive)

2. Create modular react components following the wireframe specifications, integrating well with our API.

At Honest Empathy our executive team will offer one-on-one mentorship to each student and coach them throughout the project. We will begin by understanding the student’s professional and career goals and learn how this project can help them build skills to achieve those goals. We will create an action plan for the project's duration to help them gain the skills they want. We will have check-ins 2-3 times a week to work together, understand their progress, remove blockers and coach them. Team meetings will be conducted through Zoom and phone calls.
