Our project is focused on enhancing the functionality and user engagement of our SaaS platform, specifically for the China and India markets. The goal is to deeply understand the unique needs and preferences of users in these regions and incorporate these insights into our platform's design and features. We are seeking a User Researcher Intern to play a pivotal role in this process, ensuring our platform is tailored to meet the expectations of these critical markets.


Deliverables

Market-Specific Research:

  • Conduct comprehensive research to understand the behavioral patterns, preferences, and needs of users in China and India.
  • Analyze market trends and user feedback to identify opportunities for product improvement.

User Interviews and Surveys:

  • Design and execute user interviews, surveys, and other research methods to gather qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Work closely with users to get direct feedback and insights about their experiences with our platform.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Analyze research data to derive actionable insights.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to share findings with the design and development teams.


Project-formatted deliverables:

At the end of the project, the student is supposed to upload an document to summarize his/her findings and learnings, here's is an example reference from previous student's work.



Mentorship

Interns will be mentored by experienced user researchers and product managers, receiving:

  • Direct Guidance and Mentorship: In-depth coaching on conducting user research in diverse cultural contexts.
  • Support in Developing Research Skills: Guidance in designing and executing effective research strategies tailored to the China/India markets.
  • Communication and Project Management Training: Tips and techniques for effective communication and managing user research projects.
