marketing strategies target market branding communication marketing communications customer data management marketing research marketing data recording social media contentOur goal is to create a solid marketing strategy to increase click traffic and the number of viewers, followers, and subscribers on our website page and app for our new royalty-free music library called MusMe. We want our students to conduct a thorough research project and report their findings by identifying the problem areas of our current strategy, as well as accurate data that provides us with a starting point for how to adapt and implement the findings from the research done throughout the semester. We also want to develop more strategies for targeting the right audiences that can be turned into loyal subscribers and followers. Our organization is able to offer a virtual internship opportunity for 5 marketing students.
The primary focus for the student will be:
- Branding - Conduct a full social media and website audit for each of the TwinsMusic platforms, assess where and how to improve our brand's presence and differentiate from our competitors.
- Marketing Segmentation - Identify the target market appropriate for the product or service being offered by the company.
- Market Research - Investigate our competitive landscape, such as Pond5 and Artlist; conduct sampling research of both competitor and our own customer's data and develop a pricing strategy using research and customer surveys.
- Content Analysis - Conduct an audit of our current social media presence and/or other current communication channel(s); find a value point to research and record data of previous social media content from TwinsMusic platforms.
Our goal at the end of this experience is:
- Branding and Marketing Communications - For the student(s) to identify flaws in our brand's presence in order to develop new ways to capture greater brand identity.
- Marketing Segmentation- For the student(s) to help us improve our online presence, reach more customers, and effectively promote our brand and products through compelling content.
- Market Research - For the student(s) to help us generate more traffic and product revenue through data analysis.
- Content Analysis - For the student(s) to have a better grasp of what type of content tends to perform the best given the current brand identity and media landscape.
We will plan to communicate with our virtual intern(s) using these communication tools: Riipen Messaging, email, Zoom, Facebook
Messenger and Instagram.
