Details

We are seeking a creative student to help us update our master business plan as a content specialist. This will include combining existing documents such as financial plans, marketing plans, and operational plans, then stylizing the document to make it cohesive. We have a style guide which includes text colours, fonts, etc. but encourage creativity! The business plan should be updated for 2022 and include updated graphics to reflect the current data such as timelines and graphs. We ask that you use Google Docs to edit the document in accordance with out guidelines, and create additional content through any other programs you favour such as Canva.

Deliverables

This project will include:

  • Updating graphics to reflect current research, statistics and data
  • Using Google Docs tools to merge documents and edit it stylistically in accordance with a style guide and your own creativity
  • Researching accessibility guidelines to ensure document is suitable for colourblind readers
  • Creating graphics and pictures to enhance the writing where needed
  • Edit grammar, wording or flow of the business plan as needed
Mentorship

You will work directly with our business development manager, and can arrange to meet as needed. You are welcomed to network with our team and seek advice or guidance from any member.

Before starting this project we will also give you a full overview of our company, and walk through our existing business plan and style guide. Our team will be here to support you if you have any technical or business related questions. We are a remote-first team, using Slack to communicate and Zoom for meetings as necessary. We will provide you with access to anything you need but will require all participating students to sign a NDA in return.
