Once we achieve this design goal however, we would like to work with 1-2 interns to ensure our quality assurance steps both at point of launch and well into the future ensure we continue to have the best and most user-friendly product in market.
We think this project will include the following tasks
- QA new UI features: manually access our application and try to break it. Verify both happy path and negative cases behave as expected
- Complete A/B Testing of web-based software
- QA API endpoints
- Be part of a dynamic team that builds an internal tools
- Collaborate with other engineers (back-end, UI/UX) to test and validate their features as part of the development lifecycle
- Help establish best practices for testing, bug reporting, and supporting deployments of new features
- Improve application quality by testing both pre- and post-deployment to verify features are configured and functioning properly
- Support development team by replicating bugs reported and documenting the issue and expected outcome
- Be accountable for the quality of new features, and assist with tracking, communicating, and following-up with bug reports from end users
The Exavier platform is being launched by 5 industry professionals who created this vision as part of their Queen's Executive MBA which they all recently completed in 2021. All members of the team hold positions at major well known companies at the executive level (CFO, EVP, VP, Director etc) and intend on offering the following:
Supervision - students taking part will join our set meeting and workstream structure and will work alongside as part of our regular business meeting schedules
1-2-1 Support - A project lead has been identified to be the direct point of contact for students assisting on this project who will lead, schedule and be available for 1-2-1 or additional support meetings
Mentorship - All Exavier team members have agreed to offer individual mentorship support to any students joining us with up to 2 hours per month of mentoring meetings. Our backgrounds range from Finance to Technology, Product Development, Insurance, Marketing, Banking to Automotive and Communications.
