About Us:

AfriCanadian Affordable Housing aims to reduce the impact of systemic inequities faced by continental African Canadians by providing them with affordable housing and other community support services. To expand our reach and impact, we are focused on implementing effective marketing strategies to grow leads, strengthen partnerships, and increase overall engagement.


Goal:

To enhance the visibility and engagement of AfriCanadian Affordable Housing by collaborating with students to review, refine, and deploy marketing content that effectively promotes our products and services.


Marketing Strategy to Grow Leads & Partnerships:

  • Content Marketing: Create compelling posts, blogs, and email campaigns to attract potential clients, donors, and partners.
  • Social Media Management: Schedule and deploy targeted content to engage audiences and drive website traffic.
  • SEO Optimization: Improve searchability so our materials reach the right audience.
  • Partnership Outreach: Identify and connect with community organizations, businesses, and influencers to expand our network.
  • Lead Generation Campaigns: Implement digital campaigns (newsletters, ads, and referral programs) to convert website visitors into long-term supporters.


Student Involvement:

  • Familiarizing themselves with our target market, products, and services.
  • Reviewing marketing content in the form of posts, emails, brochures, etc.
  • Deploying content according to our social media calendar.
  • Keeping our digital channels updated and optimized.
  • Recommending SEO strategies to increase visibility.
  • By working together, we aim to strengthen our digital presence, attract key stakeholders, and ultimately expand our mission’s reach.

In June 2022, the Rwandan Canadian Healing Center (RCHC) and its African Canadian Affordable Housing Solutions Lab partners launched a project which was funded by CMCH’s Solutions Lab. After a year of research and community engagement, the African Canadian Affordable Housing Village Model (ACAH VM) was born. In 2024, the team is working on a financial model and fundraising campaign for the ACAH VM.
