target audience research reports mock ups brainstorming mental health sketchingThe main goal for the project is to create several concepts for different articles of clothing to represent the brand "My Student Wellbeing" and promote mental health and wellness. This will involve several different steps for the students, including:
- Researching the target audience and their preferences for clothing.
- Brainstorming and sketching multiple concepts for clothing items and their designs.
- Creating digital mock-ups of the chosen concepts.
- Gathering feedback from potential users and making adjustments based on the feedback.
- Finalizing the designs and creating a presentation to showcase the concepts.
By the end of the project, students should complete the following list of activities:
- Research report on the target audience and their preferences.
- Sketches and digital mock-ups of multiple clothing concepts.
- Feedback analysis and adjustments made based on the feedback.
- Finalized designs and a presentation showcasing the concepts.
Final deliverables:
- Digital files of the finalized designs.
- A presentation explaining the design process and the rationale behind the chosen concepts.
Students will have direct contact with the Founder of My Student Wellbeing through email and meetings as needed. We can support through a kickoff or pre-class meeting to ensure students understand our brand and we'll provide students with feedback as they come up with concepts.

My Student Wellbeing provides information to educate post-secondary students in Canada on their mental health and wellbeing, as well as providing a platform where students can connect with mental health clinicians, who accept student insurance, for one to one virtual counselling. We also have a larger goal of improving student wellbeing across domains of life, such as financial literacy, nutrition, physical wellbeing, and social life.
