Details

The main goal of the marketing project is to drive attendance and increase participation in Meet the Motivators' online virtual events. By effectively promoting the events and reaching the target audience, the project aims to create awareness, engagement, and empower women and girls through inspiring and educational experiences.

Deliverables
  1. Define target audience: Students should work with Meet the Motivators to define their target audience for the virtual events. This may include identifying specific demographics, interests, and characteristics of the individuals or groups they want to reach.
  2. Develop a marketing plan: Students can collaborate with Meet the Motivators to create a comprehensive marketing plan that outlines strategies and tactics to promote the virtual events. The plan should include specific objectives, target audience insights, messaging, channels, and a timeline for execution.
  3. Create compelling event messaging: Students should develop engaging and persuasive messaging that highlights the value, benefits, and unique aspects of the virtual events. This messaging should resonate with the target audience and effectively communicate why they should attend.
  4. Utilize social media: Students can leverage various social media platforms (such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn) to promote the virtual events. This includes creating event pages, posting engaging content, sharing event updates, utilizing relevant hashtags, and engaging with the target audience through comments and direct messages.
  5. Implement email marketing: Students can assist in creating and sending targeted email campaigns to the organization's existing contacts and potential attendees. The emails should contain compelling event details, registration information, and encourage recipients to share the event with others.
  6. Leverage content marketing: Students can help create and distribute valuable content related to the virtual event topics. This can include blog posts, articles, videos, or podcasts that provide insights, tips, or highlights from previous events to build anticipation and showcase the value attendees can expect.
  7. Explore paid advertising: Students can research and recommend paid advertising options, such as social media ads or Google Ads, to boost the visibility and reach of the virtual events. They can help set up and optimize advertising campaigns to target the identified audience effectively.
Mentorship

Students will work closely with Executive Director, Jacqueline Dixon who is supervising and available for questions. This will also include occasional progress meetings where adjustments to the students' tasks and duties can be made if necessary.
