business to business business-to-consumerThe Barn Board services both B2C and B2B in the equine industry, with its mission of sustainability, equine welfare and community engagement.
We want The Barn Board to be user and mobile friendly as possible. A mobile app is a must.
We would like to collaborate with students to help develop and implement a mobile app for The Barn Board. To support this project, we will use a mobile theme / platform to create.
This will involve several different steps for the students, including:
- Familiarizing themselves with our platform, products and services.
- Finalizing on a mobile app DIY platform to use.
- Identifying important functions and features that should be added to our app.
- Implementing and documenting changes.
- Recommending areas for future app improvement.
By the end of the project, students should demonstrate:
- Familiarity with our platform, products and services
- Understanding of several mobile app platforms for DIYers
- Identification of important functions and features of a website that must be on the app to support the business' goals
- Implementation and documentation of updates
- Recommendations for future app improvements
Final deliverables should include
- A visual presentation.
Students will connect directly with us for mentorship throughout the project. We will be able to provide answers to questions such as:
- Our platform, products and services
- Tools and technology to use
- Input on choices, problems or anything else the students might encounter.
