Details

The project aims to create a compelling and informative conversational podcast for Kids At Risk Action (KARA) focusing on child abuse and child protection. The goal is to raise awareness, educate the public, and provide valuable insights into the challenges and solutions surrounding child welfare. The podcast will serve as a platform to discuss critical issues, share expert opinions, and highlight personal stories that resonate with listeners. By leveraging classroom knowledge in communication, media production, and social work, learners will develop a podcast that is both engaging and informative. The project will involve researching relevant topics, scripting episodes, and recording and editing audio content. This initiative will help KARA extend its reach and impact in advocating for child protection.

Deliverables

The deliverables for this project include a series of three podcast episodes, each 20-30 minutes long, focusing on different aspects of child abuse and protection. The team will provide a comprehensive podcast plan, including episode outlines and scripts. Additionally, learners will produce high-quality audio recordings, complete with editing and sound design. A promotional strategy for launching the podcast on various platforms will also be developed to ensure maximum reach and engagement.
